Shandy Hauk is a Senior Research Associate in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program at WestEd. Hauk has a PhD in mathematics and post-doc in educational research. She studies teaching and learning in mathematics, science, and engineering in grades 6 and up and has taught K-20 mathematics, graduate-level educational research, and grades 6 to 12 English/Language Arts.
